Kāpiti Pony Club is a welcoming, volunteer-run club on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast. We're home to passionate young riders of all levels — from first-timers to experienced competitors — united by a love of horses and ponies.
Our club operates on land owned and managed by the Greater Wellington Regional Council, set amid stunning coastal scenery. We're proud to be part of this special place and community.
We warmly welcome new members to Kāpiti Pony Club. Whether you're just starting out or have years in the saddle, there's a place here for you and your horse or pony.
Open to junior riders and their families. Join a supportive community where riders build confidence and skills while making lifelong friendships through rallies, lessons, and club events.
Regular rallies and instruction from experienced coaches help riders develop across all disciplines — dressage, show jumping, cross-country, and more. Progress at your own pace.
From interschool competitions to fun days and working bees, our club calendar is full of opportunities to compete, connect with other riders, and enjoy everything the equestrian world has to offer.

Enquire About MembershipWe have limited availability for new grazers at our club grounds on the Kāpiti Coast. Our paddocks are set on Council-managed land with beautiful scenery, quality pasture, and a friendly community of horse owners to share the experience with.
